Some couples’ stories come across as wonderful happenstance, others make you believe love is written in the stars. Sunny and Angela’s story certainly falls into the latter category—their grandmothers are dear friends, and after meeting as children, it was only a matter of time before Sunny and Angela reunited and realized their incredible connection. Their winter wedding took place on a snowy Colorado day, but a little inclement weather didn’t stop them from enjoying an elegant affair. In fact, their black-tie celebration took advantage of all the season has to offer, with lots of soft, lovely light, gorgeous contrast, and romantic details.
Angela wore an ethereal Hayley Paige gown, and her bridesmaids donned dusty blue. The women carried petite rose bouquets, with delicate green accents that were echoed in the groomsmen boutonnieres. Following the ceremony, guests moved into a modern ballroom filled with pristine white orchids, twinkling lights and tall, tapered candles for a five-course Asian dinner and, of course, some dancing. Rich in history and tradition, Sunny and Angela’s elegant Denver, Colorado wedding was a beautiful celebration, meaningful to their families and their journey together as a couple.
