1997 was my first time vacationing outside of the states. I packed my bags with my mother and a dear friend by my side, and puddled jumped across the sea and landed in London, England.
Beyond exploring the English countryside, one of the highlights of our travels was a day trip to Paris. For as long as I could remember I’ve always wanted to see the city. Armed with my old film camera and a few dozen rolls of film, I took in every experience frame by frame. The whole trip had such an impact on me that shortly thereafter, I decided to move to Seattle and where I began attending art school.
Recently, I unearthed those negatives and it’s been an incredible journey sifting through these old memories and amazing to see what caught my eye so long ago.
