A wedding is a historic event. The joining of two families. A celebration to be remembered.
It’s not where a couple’s story begins, but the day when their story turns a fresh, new page into something deeper and richer. Like a relationship, our lives are filled with things that define our experiences; heirlooms from the past, stories, places that hold memory. I love that Erin and Cory chose a place that already had such a rich history, and they were adding more memories to it with their love story.
Erin and Cory’s wedding took place in one of the most beautiful historic spots just south of Denver at Cherokee Ranch & Castle. Sweeping views, gorgeous stonework, and lush pastures created a backdrop similar to another time and place. The rich history of the castle and the interesting artifacts spread throughout its rooms made it feel even more like I was traveling back in time. The day was a perfect balance of the warm and natural caring they have for each other, and their loving friends and family brought more of the same to the wedding.
In late May, the hills were also coming alive with color and the air was crisp with the transition of the season between spring and summer. Their wedding was classic and timeless, and felt as fresh, as the season just beginning to bloom.
It was an honor to be part of such a beautiful day and to help you build memories you will come back to and re-experience in new ways in all the years to come. Congrats Erin and Cory!
